Summer vacations are the best time to relax and enjoy with family and friends, it’s the time I eagerly waited for every year. This year’s summer vacation is so special to me because it was the first time I’ve been on a trip with my colleagues. We had a wonderful time in Vung Tau – the city which has most beatiful beaches in Vietnam.

          We stayed there for 2 days at a small but convenient hostel. First day, we got up early to see the sunrise on the beach. It’s the most gorgeous thing I’ve ever seen. Then we swam and lay down on the sand to enjoy beautiful sunlight and the clear blue sky. We also enjoyed delicious seafood and drank fresh coconuts.

          The next day, it took us about 30 minutes to hike up the Small Mountain to visit the Lighthouse. But it was really worth the try! The lighthouse affords a panoramic magnificent view of the whole of Vung Tau and is a really interesting site. On top of Small Mountain, there is the enormous 28m figure of Jesus gazing across the East Sea. This is the largest sculpture in the Southern Vietnam. The two shoulders of the figure are balconies, each able to accommodate up to six people, which offer a splendid view of the surrounding landscape.

          The weather during the time we stayed was really good and the local people were friendly. We took many photographs to save our memorable vacation and bought a lot of souvenirs, too. I just had so many good memories of that whole trip. Everything was great, but what made the trip even greater was the fact that I was able to bulid a stronger relationships with my colleagues.

     Last summer, I went to HaLong Bay for 2 days and 1 night with my family. This is the best summer vacation I have.

     In preparation for the trip, I spent the afternoon preparing the necessary supplies. That morning, we departed from Hanoi and it took us about 2 hours to arrive. 11:30 we checked-in and went to lunch. The food here is very delicious, mainly seafood. The squid – Ha Long’s specialty is really better than everyone says. In the afternoon, my family and I went to Sun World to play games. There are many adventurous and interesting games here. Near evening, we went back to the hotel to change and go to the beach to play. The seawater is very clear and cool. There are many people who also swim in the sea. My family and I play water polo together. My brother and I even built a small sandcastle. My whole family took a photo together by the beach as a souvenir. On the second morning, we rented a yacht and went out to sea. The sea here is very blue, with lots of waves. The further away, the more majestic the sea view. Hon Trong Mai in Ha Long Bay is even more beautiful than written books. I captured an image of a large fish swimming by the side of our boat. Near noon, we return to the hotel, have lunch, and get in the car to leave.

     I really enjoyed this vacation. Hopefully, I will have a chance to come back here someday.

     Mùa hè năm ngoái, tôi đã được đi Vịnh Hạ Long 2 ngày 1 đêm với gia đình tôi. Đây là kỳ nghỉ hè tuyệt vời nhất mà tôi có.

     Để chuẩn bị cho chuyến đi, tôi đã dành cả buổi chiều hôm trước để chuẩn bị đồ dùng cần thiết. Buổi sáng hôm ấy, chúng tôi xuất phát từ Hà Nội và mất khoảng 2 tiếng để tới nơi. 11:30 chúng tôi check-in và đi ăn trưa. Đồ ăn ở đây rất ngon, chủ yếu là hải sản. Món chả mực – đặc sản của Hạ long thật sự ngon hơn cả lời mọi người nói. Tới buổi chiều, tôi và gia đình vào khu vui chơi Sun World để chơi các trò chơi. Ở đây có rất nhiều trò chơi mạo hiểm và thú vị. Gần chiều tối, chúng tôi trở về khách sạn thay đồ và ra biển chơi. Nước biển rất trong xanh và mát mẻ. Có rất nhiều người cũng tắm biển. Chúng tôi nô đùa và té nước vào nhau. Tôi và em trai còn xây một lâu đài nhỏ bằng cát. Cả gia đình tôi đã cùng nhau chụp một bức ảnh bên bờ biển làm kỷ niệm. Sáng ngày thứ hai, chúng tôi thuê du thuyền và đi ra biển. Biển ở đây rất xanh, nhiều sóng. Càng ra xa, cảnh biển càng hùng vĩ. Hòn Trống Mái ở Vịnh Hạ Long còn đẹp hơn trong sách viết nữa. Tôi đã chụp lại được hình ảnh một con cá to bơi cạnh mạn thuyền của chúng tôi. Đến gần trưa, chúng tôi trở về khách sạn, ăn trưa và lên xe ra về.

        Tôi thật sự rất thích kỳ nghỉ này. Hy vọng rằng tôi sẽ có cơ hội quay trở lại đây vào một ngày không xa.
